General Policies

Sparkle Haus provides all cleaning supplies and equipment. These remain the property of Sparkle Haus.

Client-provided equipment or supplies may only be used if Sparkle Haus receives a signed waiver of liability.
Our Mantra: “Detailed Cleaning, Flat Rate.”
Flat rates are based on the following:
-
Reported soil level and household “footprint” (number of residents/pets, frequency of cleaning).
-
Livable square footage.
-
Estimated cleaning hours.
If these factors change or require additional time, extra charges may apply.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change, but our employees rely on consistent hours. Should you need to cancel or reschedule please respect the following:

3+ Business Days’ Notice: No charge
-
2 Business Days’ Notice: $50 non-refundable fee
-
1 Business Days' or less Notice: 50% of the service cost non-refundable
Additional Notes:
Business days is defined as: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm
-
Cancellations left after 5:00 pm for the following day count as less than 24 hours’ notice.

Notifications of cancellation/reschedule after business hours will count beginning the next business day. Ex: Cleaning is scheduled for Monday, and notification of cancellation is sent Friday evening at 6pm, this notice would be effective for Monday, as it is the next business day, and treated as a less than 24 hrs notice.
The 50% of your service fee will apply if:

If Sparkle Haus cannot access your property (locked doors, construction zones, move-in/move-out not ready, etc.)

A Sparkler arrives at your service and cannot gain access, they will wait a maximum of 20 minutes for access before leaving

If a Sparkler must wait for your arrival, you will be charged for the waiting time at our current hourly rate
-
Appointments cannot be scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled directly through Sparkle Haus employees. Please contact the office at sparklehaus@sparklehaus.com or 480-454-6946.

Clients who reschedule 3+ times per year may have services discontinued to maintain team scheduling consistency
Satisfaction Guarantee (“Star Promise”)
Sparkle Haus does not issue refunds. Instead, we guarantee quality with the following process:

Notify us within 24 hours if you are dissatisfied
-
A re-cleaning will be scheduled at no cost, within 7 days of the original service
-
Re-cleaning is limited to 1 maid for 1 hour or 2 maids for 30 minutes
-
All accounts must be paid in full before re-cleaning is scheduled
-
Re-cleanings are not provided if:
-
The client declined additional cleaning time when notified the estimate was insufficient
-
Excessive clutter, décor, or more than 6 items per surface prevent proper cleaning
-
Sparkle Haus is not a restorative cleaning service. We are not responsible for permanent wear, aging fixtures, or neglected surfaces.
Prohibited Items: Our team will not handle weapons of any kind (including decorative firearms, knives, pepper spray). These items will be cleaned around, not moved.
Employees (“Sparklers”)

All Sparkle Haus cleaners are employees of the company, not contractors for hire by clients.

Solo Cleaner Dispatch: Sparkle Haus primarily dispatches solo cleaners for routine services. Larger teams may be assigned at Sparkle Haus’s discretion depending on home size, workload, or scheduling needs.

Staff assignments are determined by home size, skill level, and routing requirements. We cannot guarantee the same cleaner each visit.
-
Disrespectful, hostile, or aggressive behavior toward Sparkle Haus staff will result in immediate termination of services and full charges for time worked.
Additional Services
-
Extra services (e.g., oven cleaning, interior fridge cleaning) must be requested 48 hours in advance.
-
Additional fees apply for any work that is not included in your initial estimate for services.
Decluttering Fee
-
Clients are expected to tidy before service (toys, clothes, trash).
-
If excessive clutter prevents cleaning, a $20 per room fee will apply to stack and clear surfaces.
-
Sparkle Haus does not provide organization services.
Pricing
-
Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.
-
Skipped or rescheduled cleans incur surcharges:
-
1 week delay: +10%
-
2 weeks delay: +20%
-
+10% weekly until 6 weeks
-
6+ weeks delay: Deep clean required before recurring pricing resumes
-
-
Hourly work is billed at our current hourly rate, with a minimum of one Sparkler for two hours
Payment
-
A card on file is required for all clients and agreement to these terms to initiate service
-
Payment is due in full at the time of service
-
Accepted forms: Credit Card (processed via Stripe) only
-
Late payments incur a $25 per business day fee
-
Unpaid accounts will be sent to collections and to all legal extents to make the company whole
Scope of Work
-
Services are based on the agreed-upon scope of work, occupants of pets, people, and use of space at time of quote. Changes may result in revised quotes
-
Sparkle Haus reserves the right to increase rates if homes consistently take longer than estimated
-
Written consent is required for new quotes or scope adjustments
Pets & Infestations
-
Sparkle Haus staff will not handle pets or animal waste
-
Homes with more than 5 animals are not eligible for service
-
Signs of infestation (scorpions, bed bugs, rodents, roaches, etc.) will result in immediate cancellation without refund
Safety & Accessibility
-
Homes must have running water, electricity, climate control (≤ 78°F per OSHA requirements), and safe access
-
Sparkle Haus reserves the right to stop work if unsafe conditions exist
-
We cannot clean:
-
Exterior windows above one story
-
Garages, patios, sheds, or exterior structures
-
Carpet/tile/grout professionally
-
Laundry or organization services
-
Security & Entry
-
Clients must provide reliable access (keys, codes, or being present)
-
Sparkle Haus is not responsible for lock-outs or access failures caused by malfunctioning keys, alarms, or codes
-
If staff cannot gain entry within the 20-minute waiting period, cancellation fees will apply
Breakage & Damage Policy
-
Sparkle Haus handles all items with care. In rare cases of accidental breakage, each situation will be reviewed individually
-
High-value or fragile items (antiques, artwork, heirlooms) must be disclosed in writing prior to service
-
Sparkle Haus is not liable for items valued over $200 that are not disclosed
Arrival Windows
-
Appointment times are provided as arrival windows, not exact start times
-
Sparkle Haus reserves a two-hour window for arrival to accommodate scheduling and routing needs
Termination of Services
-
Sparkle Haus reserves the right to terminate services at any time due to unsafe conditions, nonpayment, excessive rescheduling, or hostile client behavior
-
Clients may terminate recurring services with at least 7 business days’ written notice
Liability
-
Sparkle Haus may photograph spaces for quality control and promotional purposes (no personal details disclosed)
-
We do not clean private areas such as safes, drawers, or electronics without prior written consent
-
Sparkle Haus is not liable for normal wear and tear of client-provided equipment
-
Houses, fixtures, knobs, paint, surfaces age and discolor over time. Cleaning surfaces will help maintain cleanliness, but will not prevent fixtures from aging.
Communication & Privacy

By submitting booking forms, you consent to SMS messages from Sparkle Haus. Standard messaging rates apply.

Sparkle Haus does not share client information with third parties.
Disclaimer
All bids are based on information provided at booking and subject to adjustment for conditions not disclosed (e.g., heavy soiling, mineral deposits). Adjustments will be communicated before service begins.
Sparkle Haus reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
