            Terms of Service

 

In order to create clear communication and a guideline for our clients and employees to understand and follow the following terms and conditions apply to our company, clients, and all spaces we service.

 

Sparkle Haus is a professional residential and commercial cleaning business. We maintain full license and insurance.

All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided by Sparkle Haus and are the property of Sparkle Haus. We are unable to use customer equipment or supplies that are not property of Sparkle Haus without a signed waiver ( please sign below as acceptance of this policy).

Our company mantra of: “Detailed Cleaning, Flat Rate” is outline as: Our employees will clean all spaces free and accessible to us each time we visit your property. Flat rates are based upon several factors including: disclosed soil level and live in footprint by client, hours required to clean livable square footage, and an estimate of the time combined of those factors. Should those factors change or exceed our allotted window, additional charges may be incurred to complete service requests. 

 

Cancellations
Cancellation and notice:
If you should need to cancel, contact our office at contact@sparklehaus.com or call 480-454-6946
If you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment you will not be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, a $35 administrative fee will apply.
If you cancel within 24 hours or less of your scheduled appointment, you will be billed for your regular service pricing and credited 50% of the cost towards a future clean.

 

  • The 24 hours or less fee will apply if: 1.) If you, the customer, call our office after business hours, after 5:00pm Monday through Friday and leave a message to cancel the appointment; If our staff dispatch for services and for any reason not able to clean your home. (Example: a locked door, you are still in the process of moving, active construction zones, etc.) There are no exceptions to this policy.

  • If an appointment is scheduled within 24 hours of service, the 24 hour cancellation fee above will apply.

  • Customer will be also charged if our team arrived at customer location within the dispatch window and is unable to gain access to the property. Our waiting period after notification is 20 minutes.

  • All appointments scheduled are subject to this cancellation policy.

  • Appointment can not be cancelled, rescheduled or scheduled through our employees. Please contact: contact@sparklehaus.com or call/text our business line at 480-454-6946.

  • We practice a "1-2-3" schedule policy. Should a client reschedule 3 or more times within a calendar year, Sparkle Haus reserves the right to cancel services with the client to maintain consistency in our schedules for the consideration of our teams and other clients.

 

Star promise and Satisfaction Guarantee (refunds)

Sparkle Haus is unable to perform refunds of any kind. There are no exceptions to this policy. If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.

  • You agree to inform Sparkle Haus within 24 hours of service completion of any dissatisfied areas.

  • You agree to choose a cleaning in the open appointment windows provided by our office to remedy the issue.

  • Re-cleaning must be completed within 7 days from the time of initial service. No exceptions.

  • Re cleaning time can’t be longer than 1 maid 1 hour or 2 maids for 30 minutes.

  • Complainants will be denied if the customer was notified that the estimates provided are not enough time to service a home properly and customer declined additional time. Our cleaners will only allot an additional 30-minute time window outside of the time estimated to clean. No exceptions.

  • All accounts must be paid in full before additional services or re cleans are scheduled.

  • If customers home contains large amounts of trash, clutter, décor, or more than 6 items in any given space we will not move them to clean underneath.

  • We are not a “restorative” cleaning business. While we can clean, disinfect, and overall improve a space from a cleanliness standpoint, we cannot be held accountable for old/aging fixtures, fading shower pans, or otherwise referred to as “un maintained” homes.

  • Sparkle Haus cannot, and will not, handle any items that may be classified as a weapon. This includes but is not limited to: firearms (décor or otherwise), switch blades, knives, pepper spray. If these items are present in a home, a sparkler will clean around these items, and not underneath.

  • This policy does not apply to hourly, or "piece work"

  • If for any reason, the sparklers are unable to complete any work assigned, we will charge accounts hourly, at $50 per hour per cleaner.

Sparkle Haus Employees/Sparklers

Any employee of Sparkle Haus is considered a direct employee of the business, and not the client. Unfortunately, due to illness, vacations, general turn over, or necessity for cleaners on other accounts we cannot at any time guarantee the same staff will consistently service your home. For the reasons above, clients will be assigned cleaners appropriately based on size of home, skill level of cleaner, and routing needs. All of our team members undergo extensive training, and are all equally capable of meeting the needs of our clients and scopes of work provided. Mutual respect is expected from customer to sparkler, and sparkler to customer. Yelling, screaming, cussing at, or otherwise confrontational, hostile, or combative behavior will not be tolerated. If our sparklers are met with these circumstances, we reserve the right to remove our staff from the situation without warning and bill for time spent on services. This behavior will also bar a client from receiving future services from our company.

Extra Services and Additions
If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time needed at your home and we can give you a quote for the additional services.

Decluttering Fee Notice

Estimates provided to our clients are not inclusive of general pick up. We respectfully request that homeowners prepare by picking up or put away any clothes, children's toys, or loose trash and other miscellaneous items before we arrive. If we find that a home is not properly prepared for cleaning services, we may add an additional fee of $20 per room to collect and stack any clutter in order to perform our services. As we do not offer organizational services, this process will be limited to simply making floors and surfaces free and accessible. 

Pricing Terms and Agreement

Sparkle Haus bases our pricing per client, per condition, per frequency. All issued quotes are valid for a period of 30 days. Skipped cleans will incur an additional fee. If an appointment is rescheduled to a following week, a 10% increase will apply. If a clean is rescheduled by 2 weeks, a 20% increase will apply, and so on. Any services that extend beyond a 6 weeks rotation will require a deep clean before recurring pricing is continued.

Tipping
If you wish to tip our staff for services performed you may do so by: paying them cash or contacting our office to leave a tip on your card on file. All tips are given to the associate who cleaned your property during the scheduled appointment. Tipping is not necessary, however is greatly appreciated.

 

Payment for Services:

In order to initiate services with Sparkle Haus, regardless of preferred payment method, a card on file is required to proceed with booking. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Payment for cleaning services is due in full at time of service. Sparkle Haus Gladly accepts payment in the following forms:

  • Personal Check (Please make checks payable to: Sparkle Haus and remit payment on kitchen counter)

  • Credit Cards (all clients are required to have a card on file regardless of payment type) cards are processed through Stripe. You authorize Sparkle Haus to charge your card on file accordingly. Charge backs are subject to litigation at all means necessary to acquire funds for services rendered.

  • All payments are processed by the next business morning if invoices are left open from prior days services

  • If for any reason, the sparklers are unable to complete any work assigned, we will charge accounts hourly, at $50 per hour per cleaner.

If we arrive to clean and there is not a check present we will bill the card on file. If you are not available or do not wish to use a credit card, we will have to reschedule your appointment. Cancellation fees will apply.

 

Estimates

  • You agree that the actual price payable is an estimate based upon a cleanable square foot average. If your home is deeply soiled and requires more time, the cleaners will service the home in order of importance up to the hours scheduled. If your home exceeds this estimate, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase additional time to complete the premises.

  • Any price estimates are based on Sparkle Haus’s prior experience, with inspection, and based on information provided by the Customer.

  • Sparkle Haus reserves the right to increase your pricing after cleanings have been performed for a period of time. If your space takes longer to clean than the estimated amount of time, Sparkle Haus will notify you of this increase via email.

 

Scope of Work

All properties are bid based on scope of work outlined by a client. Should the scope of work change in any manner beyond the original bid, Sparkle Haus will provide an up to date quote accurately outlining the new pricing terms. If we find that our original agreement does not properly reflect the amount of time needed to complete your premises, we will notify you in written format. The client will have 7 days to review the new bid and consent. If consent is not received in written format within 7 days, you will automatically be charged the new rate.

Sparkle Haus is an equal opportunity employer who seeks to provide regular, sustainable, and financially stable jobs for our employees. For this reason, all clients are subject to price increases, yearly or otherwise. At no time is a bid offered considered final or “long term pricing.”

Animals and Infestation Restrictions

At Sparkle Haus, we love animals! We are happy to greet and welcome any animal in your home. For liability reasons, we are unable to move, contain or let animals out. Our Sparklers are prohibited from letting dogs outside, out of their cages or kennels. 

Please be advised that we will not clean animal waste including: Bird poop, cages or crates interior, urine and feces, vomit,  handling of cat litter/boxes,  blood or any manner of what will be considered “kennel cleaning and or homes that board animals for foster, profit or otherwise.” if animal waste is present, sparklers will clean around these areas, or skip the area if necessary.

For this reason, we will not service homes that exceed 5 animals.

Infestation- We reserve the right to vacate without refund or completed cleaning of any home that shows signs of infestation active or otherwise. This is to include but not limited to: scorpions, bed bugs, black widows, rats or mice, cockroaches, or any other pests not previously mentioned.

 

Limitations, Liabilities, and Additional Information

Any and all properties agree that Sparkle Haus and its affiliates at any time can photograph your home to show improvements in space and to use for promotional reasons.  Sparkle Haus agrees to not include photographs of people other than the staff that are employed at Sparkle Haus, give away location details, addresses or names of clients.

All properties that are currently in a “pricing agreement” or have been given weekly, bi weekly, or monthly price estimates are subject to that pricing only if continued services are rendered. If any property, at any time, exceeds a 6 week window of cleaning, client will be subject to a deep or a initial clean price before “recurring” pricing will take effect again.

Sparkle Haus cannot, and will not, access any areas of a home that are considered "private". These areas include safes, bedside tables, closets, drawers, and any areas that may contain personal effects. For this reason, we are unable to clean areas that include interior of furniture, safes, gun safes (including any and all weapons of any nature), garages, or personal office spaces. In addition, Sparkle Haus is unable to clean or service any electronics included but not limited to, TVs, Computers, Laptops, Phones, or any items relating to these categories without prior authorization and signature of this page absolving us of any liabilities related to damages that may occur.

 

Safety, Accessibility, and OSHA Requirements

Sparkle Haus does its best to provide your home with “green clean” options to service you with that are safe for pets and people. At times, more corrosive materials such as acid, toilet bowl, or grout cleaner may be used. You absolve Sparkle Haus of all liability of use of these products in your home if necessary.

All properties serviced will need to maintain an internal temperature of no greater than 78 degrees. This is an OSHA requirement. If homes or spaces are not equip with a thermostat that this can be achieved, Sparkle Haus reserves the right to exit the job, without refund, at any time.

Homes that do not have access to water, heating and cooling control, or power will be cancelled or those areas will not be serviced. All equipment in homes must be in good working order and can be operated by our staff without special instruction or restriction.

 

Limitations Continued..

Sparkle Haus cannot provide the following services:

-Exterior window washing above single story

-Moving/Packing/ Relocating items of any sort

-Organizing/Junk removal (see our 6 item limit policy in cancellations)

-Any exterior home cleaning including: patio washing, garage cleaning, shed or tool room cleaning

-Carpet, tile, or grout cleaning

-Laundry care including washing, drying, folding or putting away

-Any services that are not listed on our website

Waiver of Liability for Client Provided Equipment

If you have a preference of use of equipment for your property, please advise the office prior to the beginning of your scheduled clean. Any items provided by the homeowner are not the responsibility of Sparkle Haus to maintain. Any damages, wear and tear of these items, and breakage are the responsibility of the homeowner. Sparkle Haus will not refund, replace, or compensate any client for general wear and tear of preferred use items.

Disclaimer

All of our services are guaranteed to be carried out with the maximum amount of professionalism and quality. This online bid is designed to make your life easier, but is unfortunately unable to take every factor into consideration. We must however note that the numbers quoted are all based on the information provided on the previous screen (which we will hold on record) and that if there is a deviation from those numbers, we must charge accordingly. Our online bidding system is incapable of bidding anything that is above and beyond regular cleaning services. All bids produced by this system are subject to change, although we try not to whenever possible. Factors such as extra ladder work, heavy soiling, mineral deposits, or anything else that we are unable to factor into this sight-unseen bid which might affect the price will have to be taken into account, if need be, at the time of service-- but before the service commences.  We consider that when we are making these adjustments and only do so when it is absolutely necessary and with great consideration.

Sparkle Haus reserves the right to edit this form at any time without prior notification.
